Determiner의 Subtype과 Pre/Central/Post determiners

Determiner.

 

한국어 학습자들이 가장 어렵게 느끼는 부분이다.

심지어 전공자들도 많은 어려움을 겪는 영역이다.

 

그 이유는 한국어와 대응하는 개념이 없기 때문이다.

영어는 영어대로 이해하는 것이 중요하므로, 

 

한국어로 번역된 개념은 과감히 생략하고 영어로만 나열한다.

(사실 번역이 의미가 없는 게, 학자마다 다르게 번역하여 더 혼란스럽다.)

이렇게 Subtype으로 분류한 이유는, 

Determiner의 종류에 따라서 등장하는 '순서'가 다르기 때문이다.

앞에 등장하는 순서대로,

 

Pre-determiners, Central-determiners, Post-determiners로 나눌 수 있다.

3. 주의점 및 실전 예시

- 'half'와 'Multiplier'는 명사 바로 앞에 등장할 수 없다.

*I'm willing to pay half amount. (*는 비문법적이라는 표시)

*He received an offer that was double amount that she got.

 

- Post-determiner는 다른 종류의 Determiner와 달리, 두 번 등장할 수 있다.

*I met a the student yesterday.

The first three runners will be on the semi-finals.
